Dr. Cole
was born in August 1940. He obtained a Masters Degree in
History and Political Science from University of Otago,
Dunedin, New Zealand. In 1969, he graduated from Stephen
Berhens Cohen College, Cambridge with a Ph.D. He worked as a
Management staff of B.P (Nig.) Ltd; Visiting Professor of
the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A; Fellow, Kings
College, Cambridge, England and Administrative Officer,
Political Department, Cabinet Office, Lagos between 1966 and
1976. He has numerous publications to his credit, some of
which are: Modern Elites in the Politics of Lagos, Cambridge
University Press Lagos; A call on the black world;
Continuities in Nigerian foreign policy.

Dr. Cole
has meritoriously served Nigeria in various capacities such
as:

Member: Presidential Panel on the history of Nigeria
since independence, Nigeria-US forum, Italy in 1977,
Nigeria-China Forum in 1979.

Nigerian Ambassador to Brazil (1987-1990)

Deputy National Chairman (South-South), Peoples
Democratic Party of Nigeria, PDP, (1998-1999)

Special Adviser on International Relations to the
President (1999-2001)

Special Adviser to The Guardian (2002 till date).

Delegate to the United Nations and the OAU (1976, 1989,
1989, and 1990).
His
private sector appointments include: Chairman: Green Holding
International SCC (Nig) Ltd, Tabod Nigeria Ltd, Abuja Hotels
Ltd, Airline Services Limited, Checkport Ltd and Proteceas
Nigeria Limited. He joined the NAHCo Board in 2006. |

Mr. Suleiman YAHYAH (Vice Chairman) |

 |
Yahyah was
born in 1963 in Kaduna. He attended Bayero University, Kano
where he graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in
Economics in 1987. He was the Overall Best Student in the
Department of Economics and Faculty of Arts and Social
Sciences, Bayero University, Kano.He also
attended the prestigious Cambridge University (UK) where he
obtained a Master of Philosophy in Economics and Politics of
Development. Yahyah is a financial expert with considerable
experience, and has contributed immensely to the growth and
development of Nigerias economy, through the banking
industry.
He is an
active member of numerous professional organisations in Nigeria and Overseas, such as Chartered
Institute of Stockbrokers, Cambridge Commonwealth Society,
Investment and Securities Tribunal among others. He is a
Director of many companies.
He started
his working career with Continental Merchant Bank as a
Corporate Finance Supervisor in 1987. He has served on the
Board of numerous organizations, including RoseCom Net, Rose
Hill Group Limited, Empire Securities Limited, Talafon
Telecommunications, First City Group, and NUB International.
Mr. Yahaya
has many publications on Economics and Financial issues. He
is currently a member of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG),
Alfred Marshall Economic Society, England and
Nigeria
Internet Group. He was appointed to the Board of NAHCo in
October 2006. |

Mr. Bates Sarki SULE (MD/CEO) |

 |
Sule
attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained a
B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry in 1978. He
also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma and an MBA from Usman
Dan Fodio University, Sokoto in 1995 and 1998 respectively.
He is an experienced Aviation Administrator and has held
several top Management positions, including being Airport
Manager at Sokoto and Maiduguri International Airports. He has also
been Head of Operations, Murtala Muhammed International
Airport, Lagos, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja,
and Maiduguri International Airport.
Before assuming his
present position, Sule was the Manager in charge of the
Hajj/Cargo Terminal of Murtala Muhammed International
Airport, Lagos.
He has
attended various courses in Nigeria and overseas, including
Airport Strategic Management in Singapore, Aviation
Security, Atlanta, USA; Airport Management, Montreal,
Canada, etc. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of
Management and Executive Council member, Strategic Finance
and Administrative Institute. He was recently inducted into
the Institute of Directors (IoD). |

Barrister Sylvanus Pyam Yakubu GANG |

 |
Gang was
born on 1st July, 1950 in Ganawuri Plateau State. He
attended St. Pauls College, Zaria between 1965 and 1971
where he obtained his WASC and HSC school certificate. He
later proceeded to the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where
he obtained a B.Sc in Business Administration (Hons) in
1975. In 1979, he bagged an MBA from the same university. He
also attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos between 1989
and 1990 where he obtained his L.L.B and B.L respectively.
Gang worked with the Plateau State Government as Senior
Commercial Officer between 1976 and 1981.
He also worked with the then
Savannah Bank of Nigeria Plc, Jos as a Credit Officer
between 1982 and 1983.He was promoted Deputy Branch Manager
of the Kano branch in 1983. He also worked with FSB
International Bank, Ikoyi, Lagos as a Senior Manager, Lion
Bank of Nigeria where he was appointed the Deputy Managing
Director in November 1992, confirmed as Managing
Director/Chief Executive Officer in April, 1993. He Left
Lion Bank in March 1997.
He is
currently a Principal Partner of Spy Gang and Associates
(Financial, Management and Legal Consultants and Trainers).

Osita Apollos ONYENWE |

Onyenwe
holds a B.Sc. (Hon.) Degree in Zoology from University of
Nigeria, Nsukka (1977), Post Graduate Diploma from Ahmadu
Bello University, Zaria, (1979), and MBA from University of
Lagos (1981). He was a lecturer at the College of Education,
Maiduguri.
He is a
Human Management expert with positive winning spirit
evidenced by his social work and community services. Onyenwe
is the Chairman of Arrosyn Impex Nigeria Ltd, Pathway
Communications Ltd and Centric Industries Ltd.

Mr.
Mobolaji BALOGUN |
| |
 |
Balogun
attended London School of Economics, University of London
where he obtained a B.Sc. Degree (Hons) in Economics in
1989. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute
of Stockbrokers, Nigeria as well as an Authorised Dealing
Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
He is a
renowned Investment expert whose commitment to national
development encouraged his involvement in various Government
reform programmes in Telecommunications, Banking, and the
Capital Market.
Balogun actively manages various businesses,
professional and social organisations, including stock
broking firms. He is a member of the Committee on the
Nigerian Corporate Governance Code among others.
He has
held various Directorial and Senior Executive Management
positions in the areas of Investment Banking/Stock Broking.
For instance, he served as a Director of FCMB Capital
Markets and CSL Stock brokers. He was also a founding
Director of Econet Wireless Nigeria Limited (now Celtel),
and Director of the West African Portland Cement Company
PLC. He is President of the Advisory Board of SBA Reuters
Nigerian Issuing Houses League.

Bello
attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from where he bagged
a B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Architecture, as well as M.Sc.
Architecture and MBA. Bello is a member of the Nigerian
Institute of Architects, the Architect Registration Council
of Nigeria, as well as an Associate Member of the Nigerian
Institute of Management.
He is a
Property expert with considerable experience. He is also an
Administrator of repute with enviable records. His
directorial responsibilities cover Bells Properties &
Services Ltd, HNB Security and Protective Company, Polyfibre
Industrial Limited, and Confidence Finance Ltd.
He is a
member of the Amateur Basket Ball Association and Federal
Road Safety Commission. He is widely travelled. |

Denis HASDENTEUFEL |

 |
Denis
represents Air France on the Board of NAHCo. He attended
Master of Commerce High School in Paris.
He has held various
positions in Air France, ranging from General Manager at
Charles de Gaule Airport to his present position as
International Purchasing Vice President.
He also represents
Air France on the boards of CIAS (Singapore), AIDA
(Mauritius) and AFSL (Great Britain). Mr. Hasdenteufel
joined NAHCos Board in 2000. |

Mr.
Thomas MUELLER |
| |
 |
Thomas Mueller was
appointed Director, Lufthansa Operations & Airport Services,
West Africa effective February 15, 2006. Before that, he was
General Manager, Sales and Services in Port Harcourt,
Nigeria since July 1, 2005.
Born on February 28, 1970
in Singapore, Mueller had a stint in the German army after
his primary and secondary education.
He started his career with
Lufthansa in July 1991 and received his higher education
while undertaking on-the-job trainings within the scope of
an in-house management training programme.
Mueller had his first
posting abroad as Station Manager in Nairobi, Kenya (until
1999) and subsequently as Station Manager for Condor
Airlines, a subsidiary of Lufthansa, in Mombasa, Kenya until
September 2000 after which he was posted to the cities of
Samara and Kazan as Regional Manager, Mid-Volga Region and
Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. Mueller is married, loves
sports and traveling. |

Mr. Brett SILVER |
| |
 |
Mr. Silver
represents British Airways on the Board of NAHCo Plc. He was
born in August 1972 in Springs, South Africa. He
matriculated from Northwood High School, KZN, with Full
Honours in 1990 and proceeded to the University of Natal,
Durban on a full academic scholarship from Unilever PLC.
Brett is
a qualified accountant and has been an Associate of the
Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of England and
Wales since 2001. He is also a member of the Institute of
Directors of Pall Mall, London and has recently passed the
IOD Diploma in Company Direction.
He began
his career with Unilever in South Africa before moving to
London. He has held various positions within British Airways
since 1997 notably General Manager, Finance, East and
Central Africa based in Nairobi; General Manager Finance,
South East Asia based in Singapore; and most recently
General Manager Nigeria for British Airways World Cargo,
based in Lagos.
Mr.
Brett was appointed to the Board of NAHCo in June 2005 and
is an active member of several Board committees. He is
married and has a young daughter. His interests include
surfing, golf and jukskei. |
